100 Hearts for Youth Wellness
Join a Team of dedicated fundraisers…
A committed fundraising group that brings together individuals and businesses to support the YWHO Northumberland.
The dedication shown by Members of The 100 Hearts for Youth Wellness will improve the lives and prospects of young people from across Northumberland County and equip YWHO Northumberland to become the first stop for Youth 12-25 years old across the county looking for clinical and social supports to drive their wellness journey.
About the Campaign
100 Hearts for Youth Wellness is made up of local community members. The Teams and Team Members make up a roster of regular donors to raise funds for YWHO Northumberland to expand its services and its reach. Each Team is committed to giving $2,400 yearly (or $200 monthly) for a minimum of 3 years. Teams are led by a Champion, who recruits other Team Members and communicates updates around this initiative, with a Committee running the campaign on behalf of Rebound Child and Youth Services and the Collaborative Partnership Team of YWHO Northumberland.
A group of 100 Teams, each committed to contributing $200 monthly or $2,400 yearly.
Dynamics of a Team
Each Team is made up of Members, being one or more individuals or businesses, and will have a designated Champion.
Teams can collect the money themselves and make a single donation or sign up separately as regular donors.
Financial Commitments of a Team
The division of payments will vary – some Members may give the full amount individually, others commit to host fundraisers or to recruit smaller donors. For example, a team with four Members may commit to $50 each.

Our Champions are the backbone of this model
Each Champion commits to raising $200 per month (or a single annual payment of $2,400) for three years. For some, this may mean donating the entire sum personally or through a business. Others may decide to host an event at their home or business to raise the money. Most Teams will probably be made up of a group of friends, family or coworkers, each agreeing to contribute a portion of the donation through our online CanadaHelps link.
If members of the team decide to stop donating, Champions will be asked to look for another way to make up the contribution. Champions may be invited to events during the year.
They will have a chance to attend a special tour of the building at 15 Cavan St. in Port Hope and will receive a Be the Who pin.
-
Team Members are responsible for making their donation on time and are asked to commit for at least 3 years. If donations are made direct to Rebound, they will receive the same recognition owed to a donor of the same value outside the Be the Who initiative, including a charitable tax receipt.
Team Members are encouraged to sign up for our email newsletter and social media posts for updates and information.
